Pitti Bimbo opens in Florence on 20th January 2011

There will be 518, 188 of which are from abroad, the labels in the next edition of Pitti Bimbo, scheduled January 20 to 22 at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. There will be 434 companies present, with collections ranging from classic elegant to sportswear brands, from the creativity and research at New View and EcoEthic to the urban couture of Super Street, but also the design and textile industry related to the world of children.

Among the new features and special projects of this edition of Pitti Immagine the organizers report Nolita Pocket and Rare Kids, Alberto Fasciani, 9.2 Kids, Closed, Gemma.H Child whipcord, Toywatch, Daniele Alessandrini, Philippe Model, Monochrome.

For the 72nd edition of the exhibition is also scheduled for the first time, Who is on next bimbo, a competition dedicated to new talent in children’s fashions, sponsored and organized by Pitti Immagine in collaboration with Vogue Children and Altaroma. Eight finalists, including three winners will be chosen and they will have the opportunity to present their collection to businesses, buyers and international press. The finalists are Paolo Bruzzone, Simon Sheath, Frank Heusser, Lea Paolini, Josiane Strocchi Fabiani for the category total look, and for the accessories category, Barbara Barbantini and Elena Michela Tavella.……
