The historic Italian fashion house Missoni decides to cooperate with the Brazilian brand Havaianas for a fun and lively summer capsule collection. It’s called Missoni loves Havaianas and sees the protagonists flip-flops in three different proposals, multicolour wavy stripes and the zig zag pattern typical of the Milanese designer, women’s and unisex espadrilles as a model of flare-ups.
Each pair of Missoni loves Havaianas is sold in a bag-shoes, made in Italy by Missoni fabric and decorated with patterns in the colours of the Italian and Brazilian flags. “The white, red and green of the Italian flag – said Angela Missoni, Creative Director of the Italian brand – merge and intersect with the green and yellow of the Brazilian in the pattern chosen for the packaging. These same colours come back – she continues – along with black, orange and blue ocean in different designs on three types of flip flops, women’s and unisex slim regular, and the fabric of traditional espadrilles. ”
The prices of flip-flops and espadrilles range from 50 to 130 Euro and the entire collection will be available in boutiques Missoni, from Luisa Via Roma in Florence and on the sites and net-a-porter.com and havaianas-store.com.
