Six Nations back in action

March 11, 2011 by admin

six_nationsIt’ Six Nations weekend again and it’s time for Italy-France in Rome with the Azzurri that are still looking for their first victory in the tournament after loosing against Wales. Italian coach, Nick Mallet changes 7 men in the starting XV but it’ll hard because France needs a win to keep on hoping to win the cup. My prediction is France by 15.

In the other Saturday clash Wales will host Ireland, the Dragons can’t afford to give Ireland’s ball-carriers space to run meanwhile the Irish have scored seven tries in this year’s competition, a figure topped only by England, so they are my favourite for the match, my prediction is Ireland by 5.

Sunday is the day of the traditional match between Scotland and England, at Twickenham Calcutta cup, the oldest trophy in rugby (the first edition was placed in 1878), is up for grabs. I don’t think that Scotland can create problems to England but is a brave team and they can always create alot of emotions. My prediction is England by 20.

Have a nice Six Nations weekend
