2011 Easter vacation on the Amalfi Coast Italy

April 4, 2011 by admin

For anyone who would like to spend the 2011 Easter vacations in southern Italy, a wonderful destination is the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy, full of natural beauty. It’s easy to get there from Rome airport or from the north of Italy thanks to new railway from Milan to Naples which only takes less than 5 hours.

Sorrento for sure is worth a visit, where you must taste the locally produced Limoncello. From Sorrento, we recommend taking the narrow walking path with breathtaking panoramic views  to the famous and picturesque Positano, the walk should take only 30 mins.

Further down the coast from the port of Amalfi there are many boat trips lasting several hours at a time to visit the infamous “Blue Caves”, not just to see the caves but for the wonderful coastal sea views.
