Alviero Martini handbags spring summer collection 2011

February 19, 2011 by cf

The collection of handbags from the Italian brand  Alviero Martini Prima Classe for spring / summer 2011 shows the unmistakable work of Geo. The bag designs use the famous and well liked map drawings from the nineteenth century, the ideal for this handbag range came about by chance. Alviero Martini before becoming a renowned fashion designer, was a bit of a “jack of all trades” in the fashion world namely a costume designer, actor, artist and window dresser. In 1987 they decided to showcase a suitcase covered with a map purchased in Moscow, and here is the end result in this new collection for 2011.

The new collection includes spacious and stylish handbags in soft calf leather, comfortable shoulder bags and hand bags with a simple yet elegant designs.
