Six Nations weekend 26th Feb 2011

February 26, 2011 by admin

six nationsThis will be an intense weekend for european rugby: Saturday, at 18 CET,  in London there will be the big clash between England and France, I think the home team is the favorite one but it will be a close match so my prediction is England will win by 3 points.

Also Saturday the first match will be in Rome where Italy will face Wales; the Azzurri have a big chance to win the first match of the tournament but they must be good to play in the right way with clever tactics that could expose the weakness of the Welsh; Dragons, instead, are weak in the front row but they have a powerful team as they showed in Scotland, so for Italy it won’t be easy, my (italian) prediction is Italy by 5.

The last match will take place in Edinburgh where Scotland will try to ransom the poor match against Wales of two weeks ago, they’ll face Ireland  and I also think this will be a close match because the Scottish are brave at home but Ireland are stronger; my last prediction is Ireland by 5.

Have a nice rugby Six Nations week end
