A dream holiday in Val Gardena, Dolomites mountains

A weeks vacation in Val Gardena in the Dolomites mountains can be a real adventure; skiing, cross country skiing, hiking and visits to the many beauty farms and wellness centres. Passing the days skiing in Alpe di Siusi with quiet, easy pistes and beautiful views of the Sassolungo and Sciliar; or a tour around the Sella massif can be an unforgettable adventure. The 26 km long Sellaronda offers many picturesque villages in the Dolomites, the ones worth paying a visit are Selva, Corvara, Arabba and Canazei. Also, not to be missed is the Marmolada glacier via Arabba.

A guided tour of the national park Puez Geisler is highly recommended but bear in mind you will need a full day to enjoy this wonderful area. If all the sports are getting a little too much why not do some shopping, in the towns of Val Gardena, Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva. After buying some souvenirs you can relax in one of the terraces of the many bars, lastly the cute little village of Santa Cristina is highly recommended.
